Summary
Arisan is a unique and popular Indonesian social practice, which can be found in every community. A circle of friends gather monthly and deposit a fixed amount of money for lottery. In this arisan, three friends struggle to maintain a facade in front of the other members although in truth their lives are less than perfect. Meimei is a successful interior designer battling with infertility and married to an unfaithful husband, while Andien, a devoted housewife is also married to an unfaithful husband. Sakt, an architect, is gay, but is in denial of his identity, and afraid of what his family and friends will think of him. When he enters a relationship with Nino, he must learn to face new challenges.
