A toy panorama for the use of children.

Twelve scenes from the story of Cinderella are presented side by side to form a long panoramic strip 15 cm. in height. The strip is mounted on two wooden rollers within a one-sided box; exterior cranks turn the strip. The panorama appears in a cut-out window on the box and printed decorations on the area around the window make it look like a stage, with a proscenium arch, stage floor, an orchestra and, on the sides, audience members in boxes.

An explanation of each scene printed at top of strip is revealed as cranks are turned.

[1] Departure of the proud sisters for the ball at the palace leaves Cinderella left alone and despondent

[2] The good fairy resolves that Cinderella shall also attend the ball

[3] Cinderella's surprise and delight at the appearance of the fairy with the good news

[4] Cinderella departs in great state and splendor for the ball

[5] Cinderella receives marked attention from the prince and is the attraction of all eyes

[6] Return of the proud sisters tired and cross, yet chanting the praises of the beautiful and mysterious princess

[7] Second grand ball at the palace, the prince will notice no one but Cinderella

[8] The clock strikes twelve and Cinderella escapes from the palace as all her splendor falls away

[9] The prince, having found Cinderella's glass slipper, causes search to be made for her everywhere

[10] The prince declares that he will marry her whose foot the slipper fits, and Cinderella's is the only one
