Illuminated manuscript on paper of Tuḥfetü'l-kibār fī esfārü'l-biḥār by Kâtip Çelebi, a naval history of Turkey in the 16th and 17th centuries. Translated into Ottoman Turkish by Seyyid Mehmet Hüsni Yahya Kadızade.
The text is preceded by a table of contents, preceded by a leaf on which is a note and seal in Arabic: Naqala hādhā al-kitāb Sayyid Muḥammad Ḥusnī Yaḥyá Qādizādah ( نقل هذا الكتاب سيد محمد حسني يحيى قادزاده). It ends with praises by several prominant persons including Shaykh al-Islām Muṣṭafá (ff. 100a-103b).
