Annotation states that features peculiar to this map are explained in the author's Nova introductione ad geographiam. This map appears to have been designed not later than 1710. It was published in one of T.C. Lotter's atlases in the 1770s, possibly his Atlas géographique, 1778. A considerably revised version was published under the title: L'Asie dressé.
