Summary
Manuscript fair copy in one or more unidentified hands of texts for 324 French satirical political songs, some with music. Subjects include the court of Louis XIV, the regency of Philippe, duc d'Orléans, John Law and the Mississippi bubble, and other political issues. The volumes are apparently from a larger original set, and volume numbers have been altered by a former owner. Date spans of contents are: volume 1: 1710-1715; volume 2: 1706-1709; volume 3: 1710; and volume 4: 1715-1720.
