Lillian Goldman Law Library Rare26 24-0016 copy purchased from Sokol Books Ltd in February 2023. The title page bears the inscription "Octb. 9 1624. De nuo imprima Londini in perpetu Papa infamiam. Thoms Goade" and the autograph of Mathew Lownes. 17th-century bibliographical notes are present on the front pastedown, with additional notes in pencil in Mendham's hand below. Some parts of the errata are lightly crossed through in ink. Bound in English 16th-century speckled calf, featuring blind and gilt ruling on the covers in a panel design, fleurons at the outer corners, and a large strap-worked lozenge gilt at the centers. The spine is gilt ruled in compartments, and all edges are sprinkled red.
