Collection of 35mm unlabeled slides, 35mm negatives, black and white photographs, and architect’s plans, elevations and diagrams concerning the construction and restoration of 18th and 19th century domestic architecture related to the publication Edward P. Friedland, Antique houses: Their construction and restoration, 1990. According to the date stamped on some slides, some material was acquired in the mid-1970’s. Most of the material is unlabeled and packed according to broad groupings. Material was received from the donor with limited identifying information. Most of the material covers the following buildings: Dennis Kane House, Rocky hill (moved to Preston), CT, Elisha Perkins House, Plainfield, CT., John Palmer House, Lisbon, CT, John Bishop House, Lisbon, CT, buildings in Wethersfield, CT, Essex, CT.
