Scope and Contents
The collection comprises ephemeral type specimens: pamphlets, single sheets, and broadsides. Series I contains materials that document a single font or font family. Series II contains materials that document more than one font; they are listed by the manufacturer or distributor. Series III is a clipping file with information on typographers. Series IV contains broadsides, divided into four subseries: Typeface; Manufacturer; Typographer; and Calligraphy and Lettering.
