Summary
This collection provides online access to pamphlets printed in the Holy Roman Empire between 1501 and 1600 in German and Latin. They cover various topics and themes from this time period: the early Reformation movement, the Peasants' War, the threat presented by the Turks, the Turkish wars, the revolt of the Netherlands, the persecution of French protestants, the status of Calvinists and Zwinglians in the Holy Roman Empire, propaganda against the papacy and the Jesuits, intra-Protestant theological quarrels, the building of confessional networks, witch-hunting, and anti-Jewish polemics.
