Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. Frame 17 - School Health Work, being done by Cheeloo students. This is a form of public health work which the Ministry of Health of the National Government has pushed intensively in recent years, and that department in the Government has been headed by a Cheeloo graduate. One of the schools which is used for supervised practice of school health is the Ch'ung Te Primary School, a private school for the children of University staff and employees, but other schools in the city have had Cheeloo staff and students as their health officers. This service includes annual physical examinations, immunization against contagious diseases and the teaching of health habits. Several Chinese children are standing in a courtyard along with a Chinese man. In front of them is a table where there are seated some men in suits.
