W. V. Eastman, Corp'l, Co. D, 17th Vt. Vols, aged 42, was admitted to the Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital April 24th, 1865, with gunshot wound of face, ball entering under left eye, passing thro' superior maxillary bone, making its exit from behind right ear. Wounded April 2, 1865, at battle of Fort Marshall Va. Did well.
