Includes two messages written by Bartolomé Mitre. The first is dated at "Campo de batalla en Pavón, setiembre 17 de 1861"; the second is dated at "Cuartel General en marcha, setiembre 18". These messages concern his victory at the Battle of Pavón, also referred to in the text as "La batalla de Cañada Rica".
