"In a crisis-ridden Iceland, Bjarki refuses to fulfil his father's dream of becoming a professional footballer like his brother. The young musician, then obsessed with old machines and electronic music, chose instead to leave the island to devote himself body-and-soul to sound and his productions. The young musician, who was an anti-conformist from the beginning, got off to a rather chaotic start. But his meeting with Nina Kraviz, the world's most bankable DJ, would go on to change everything. The Russian spotted Bjarki's talent and decided to release ""I Wanna Go Bang"" on her label Trip, thus giving birth to one of the biggest techno hits of 2015. But Bjarki kept a cool head and did not give in to the temptations of commercial clubbing. He even said no to Berghain and Boiler Room! His passion is production, and the least we can say is that he is prolific in his passions: five albums in four years, including three in 2016! When it comes to taking to the stage to showcase his records, Bjarki wants above all to offer his listeners a unique party, an original moment. Mixing for a mere fee isn't part of his outlook. This is what he demonstrates in this live performance from the SEQUENCES collection in collaboration with the Peacock Society festival.
