Summary
Hubert Humphrey was Mayor of the city of Minneapolis from 1945 to 1948, and in only three short years in office, he changed the face of the city. With little administrative power to counter the deep rooted corruption in the city, Mayor Humphrey had to use unconventional tactics to get things done. Interviews with Bill Moyers, President Carter, Art Naftalin and others, this documentary examines Humphrey's legacy and remarkable achievements in his crusade for civil and human rights.
