Edited from the Dār al-kutub manuscript (also used as the basis of the 1997 edition), with material from the Azhar manuscript (the primitive version, preserved in the library of al-Azhar University, Cairo, in manuscript no. 30714, folios 247r-284r) incorporated in the annotations.

The sequence of 75 unnumbered pages contain a color facsimile of folios 247r-284r of the al-Azhar manuscript (Maktabah al-Azharīyah, manuscript no. 30714), containing the text of the primitive version.

Appendix Two includes a Spanish paraphrase of the original Arabic, as found in the manuscript Bologna, Biblioteca universitaria D 565. The paraphrase is followed by an English translation.

The first edition was published in 1997.

Text in Arabic, on the sequence of 335 pages, preceded by an English translation on 328 pages.
