Summary
In Sudan, human trafficking is big business. Thousands are taken by Arab militiamen and forced into slavery. For a price, Arab traders buy them back and return them to their families. This is where Baroness Caroline Cox, a deputy speaker at the House of Lords, has decided to step in. She has set up a deal with the traders, and Christians in Britain are donating increasing amounts of money to her cause. But others, including Mike Dottridge of Anti-Slavery International, say that by paying the traders, she is fuelling the trade. We follow the Baroness on her controversial and dangerous mission.
