Summary
Circa 200 propaganda leaflets, newsletters, and other printed ephemera, some illustrated, intended for distribution in France, 1940-1946. Most contain anti-British, anti-American, or anti-Russian content, advocate cooperation with the German occupation, or encourage support for Philippe Pétain, Pierre Laval, and other Vichy Regime leaders. Other items advocate French resistance against Germany and support for Charles de Gaulle and France combattante. A few items are annotated by an unidentified former owner, indicating original locations and dates found.
