Summary
Transcriptions of records and documents of a court case in Arabic, Ottoman Turkish and French concerning Anṭūn Ghurrah (Antoine Ghorra), the dragoman of the French Consul at Damascus, Syria aganist Anṭūn al-Lādhiqānī accusing him of setting fire to his residence in Damascus. The first document is dated 21 Muḥarram, 1283 (5 June, 1866) and the last is dated 19 Ṣafar, 1285 (11 June, 1868). The translation of the French document into Arabic and Ottoman Turkish was done by Zakī ʻArabī.
