Anita Loos (1893-1981), American screenwriter, playwright, and author.
Summary
Draft, typescript and typescript carbon, corrected of Loos's memoir (New York: Viking Press, 1974) about her professional life from the 1920s through 1940s, covering her relationship with her husband John Emerson, New York theater, and the studio system in Hollywood. Loos worked under contact for MGM, and her memoir discusses writing and film projects, actors and actresses, and producers and directors of the studio era.
