Ansel Adams (1902-1984) was an American photographer and conservationist. Adams photographed northern California for the Redwood Empire exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 1964-1965.
Stuart Nixon (1916-2007) was the publicity director of the Redwood Empire Association, circa 1963-1970, and coordinated Ansel Adams's photographing of northern California for the 1964 Redwood Empire exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
