Translation of the colophon: "The Shaykh, may God be pleased with him, said: This is the end of what I intended to demonstrate about the Ḥadīths which summarized the edicts of Islam and included numerous kinds of sciences, the principals and the subsidiaries, the ethical and the different rules. I am also introducing a very short chapter, enumerating alphabetically the technical terms it contained, so that no one will err in any of them, and the memorizer will have no need to refer to someone else to scrutinize it. Praise be to God, in the beginning and at the end, inwardly and outwardly. Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe. Amen. It is completed. May God pray on our Master Muḥammad, his family and his companions and grant them peace. Amen. It is completed."
