Summary
al-Jāmiʻ al-ṣaḥīḥ, also called Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, the most authoritative collection of Ḥadīths, according to the Sunnī tradition, by Muḥammad ibn Ismāʻīl al-al-Bukhārī (810-870), a celebrated Ḥadīth scholar and historian, born in Bukhārá (Bukhoro, Uzbekistan) and traveled extensively, collecting more than six hundred thousand Ḥadīths, of which he selected the most reliable. The present manuscript is "al-Juzʼ al-tāsiʻ min ithnay ʻashar" (Volume nine of twelve). The present manuscript is incomplete and ends abruptly. Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
