Summary
Three manuscript documents, on parchment, concerning a dispute between the Beneford and the Watterfall families over inheritance of land in Wolverhampton. The indenture is written in Middle English, dated 1479 May 20; the bond and enfeoffment documents are in Latin and are dated 1479 May 24. The indenture has a trace of its seal; the Latin documents have broken red wax seals attached. All three items are docketed with the regnal year in a contemporary hand: "19 Ed. 4."
