Wa-nazalat farīḍat al-ḥajj sanat tisʻ min al-Hijrah, aw, li-annahu, ṣallá Allāh ʻalayhi wa-sallam, ʻalima annahum lā yastaṭīʻūn al-ḥajj, immā bi-sabab kuffār Muḍar, wa-immā li-ghayrihi. Qawluhu 'min al-maghnam', ay, min al-ghanīmah, wa-hiya tuqsamu ʻalá khamsat akhmās, arbaʻat akhmās lil-ghuzāh, wa-al-khums yukhammas thāniyan lil-maṣārif al-khamsah al-mashhūrah fī al-fiqhīyāt. Fa-in qulta li-ma ʻadala ʻan lafẓ al-maṣdar al-ṣarīḥ ilá mā fī maʻná al-maṣdar, wa-hiya [wa-huwa] ātin maʻa al-fiʻl al-muḍāriʻ, qultu ishʻāran bi-maʻná al-tajaddud ..."
البداية مفقودة. يبدأ النص بـِ: "... لأن وفادتهم كانت سنة ثمان، عام الفتح. ونزلت فريضة الحجّ سنة تسع من الهجرة، أو، لأنّه، صلى الله عليه وسلم، علم أنّهم لا يستطيعون الحجّ، إمّا بسبب كفّار مضر، وإمّا لغيره. قوله 'من المغنم'، أي، من الغنيمة، وهي تقسم على خمسة أخماس، أربعة أخماس للغزاة، والخمس يخمّس ثانيًا للمصارف الخمسة المشهورة في الفقهيات. فإن قلت لِمَ عدل عن لفظ المصدر الصريح إلى ما في معنى المصدر، وهي [وهو] آتٍ مع الفعل المضارع، قلت إشعارًا بمعنى التجدد ..."

Summary
"al-Kawākib al-darārī fī sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī" (Brilliant stars on the commentary on Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī", by Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-Kirmānī (1317 or 1318-1384 or 1385), a prolific scholar, from Kirmān (Iran), who resided in Baghdad for thirty years, where he excelled and became well-known, being a commentary on "al-Jāmiʻ al-ṣaḥīḥ", the authoritative collection of Ḥadīths, by Muḥammad ibn Ismāʻīl al-al-Bukhārī (810-870), a celebrated Ḥadīth scholar and historian, born in Bukhārá (Bukhoro, Uzbekistan) and traveled extensively, collecting more than six-hundred-thousand Ḥadīths, of which he selected the most reliable. al-Kirmānī wrote his work during his residence in Mecca. The present manuscript is incomplete; the beginning and end are missing. Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
