Colophon: "Wa-kāna al-najāz min nasākhat hādhā al-khaṭṭ wa-taṣlīḥihi, ay, al-Bindīkistārī al-Khamsīnī al-muqaddas, nahār al-Jumʻah, fī 31 Ādhār, min al-Jumʻah alladhī baʻda al-Fiṣḥ, min shuhūr sanat 1844 lil-tajassud al-Ilāhī, wa-qad tamma bi-rasm Ḥaḍrat Abīnā al-Aqdas wa-al-ināʼ al-ṭāhir al-anfas, al-Khūrī Yūsuf ibn al-marḥūm al-Khūrī Mūsá, wa-qad ʻulliqat bi-yadihi al-fāniyah wa-anāmilihi al-mutalāshiyah al-ʻabd al-khāṭī Ṣāliḥ ibn al-marḥūm Jabbūr, min ahālī qaryat al-Raynah, al-muqāribah ilá madīnat al-Nāṣirah, wa-huwa yasʼalu kull man qaraʼa fīhi wa-raʼá fīhi ghalṭah ṣallaḥahu, yuṣliḥu Allāh umūrahu dunyā wa-ākhirah. الخاتمة: "وكان النجاز من نساخة هذا الخط وتصليحه، أي، البنديكستاري الخمسيني المقدس، نهار الجمعة، في 31 آذار، من الجمعة الذي بعد الفصح، من شهور سنة 1844 للتجسد الإلهي، وقد تمّ برسم حضرة أبينا الأقدس والإناء الطاهر الأنفس، الخوري يوسف بن المرحوم الخوري موسى، وقد علقت بيده الفانية وانامله المتلاشية العبد الخاطي صالح بن المرحوم جبور، من أهالي قرية الرينة، المقاربة إلى مدينة الناصرة، وهو يسأل كل من قرأ فيه ورأى فيه غلطة صلّحه، يصلح الله أموره دنيا وآخرة. فأنت أيّها القارئ لا تواخذ الكاتب، لأنّ الكمال هو لله وحده، فاقبل عذري ونشاطي، كما قبل ربّنا فلسين الأرملة، ونرجو منكم ترحموا على الناسخ، الله يرحمنا ويرحم جميع المسيحيين الأرثودكسيين. آمين."

Translation of the colophon: "The copy of the Holy Bindīkistārī al-Khamsīnī was completed on Friday, the 31st of March, i.e., the Friday after Easter, of the year 1844 of the Divine Incarnation, for our holy Father and immaculate precious vessel, al-Khūrī Yūsuf ibn al-marḥūm al-Khurī Mūsá, by the perishing hand and vanishing fingers of the sinful servant, Ṣāliḥ ibn al-marḥūm Jabbūr, of the people of the village of al-Raynah, near the city of al-Nāṣirah (Nazareth). He requests everyone who reads it and sees a mistake in it, to fix it, may God fix his affairs in this world and the next. You, reader, do not blame the scribe, because perfection is for God alone. Accept my excuse and my endeavor, as our Lord accepted the two Filses (Pennies) of the widow. We implore you to invoke mercy for the copyist. May God have mercy on us and on all the Orthodox Christians. Amen."
