Incipit: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. al-Ḥamdu lillāh al-awwal wa-al-ākhir, al-ẓāhir wa-al-bāṭin alladhī jalla wa-taqaddasa ʻan al-ashyāʼ ... Ammā baʻd, fa-hādhā kitāb yaḥtawī, in shāʼa Allāh, ʻalá ʻalá shayʼ min al-tawḥīd ..."

البداية: "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الحمد لله الأول والآخر، الظاهر والباطن الذي جل وتقدس عن الأشياء ... أمّا بعد، فهذا كتاب يحتوي، إن شاء الله، على شيء من التوحيد ..."

الخاتمة: "وأنا أحقر العباد ... عبد الله بن حميد بن سويف بن سالم بن محمد بن علي بن حميس بن مبارك الخروصي الأزدي الإباضي ... يوم 24 شهر شوال، سنة 1352."

Translation of the colophon: "[Copied by] me, the most wretched servant ... ʻAbd Allāh ibn Ḥamīd ibn Suwayf ibn Sālim ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Ḥumays ibn Mubārak al-Kharūṣī al-Azdī al-Ibāḍī ... on the 24th day of the month of Shawwāl, of the year 1352 [of the Hijrah = 9 February, 1934]."
