The records include a volume containing approximately 1138 applications for membership in the Masters' and Past Masters' Association of the Free and Accepted Masons of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, California, which date from circa 1913-1947 (box 1); a folder of miscellaneous correspondence and records dating from 1917-1947; one binder consisting of Blue Lodges membership lists, by state, 1946; one binder containing correspondence and records of events during 1948; twelve binders dating from 1949-1961 containing records of Oakland, California area lodges including attendance records and receipts, records of Shrine Masonic Night, Masters/Past Masters Meetings, membership applications, and correspondence and events (box 2, 1917-1953; box 3, 1954-1961).
