"Nammaqahu al-faqīr al-ḥaqīr dhū al-ʻajaz wa-al-taqṣīr al-shahīr bi-Qayṣarlīʹzādah Ḥāfiẓ Aḥmad Fāʼiq"--Folio 33b.
"نمقه الفقير الحقير ذو العجز والتقصير الشهير بقيصرليزاده حافظ أحمد فائق"--الورقة 33ب.
The letter on folio 33b is dated 25 Tammūz, [1]315 (25 July, 1897); The date of the letter on folio 34a is 13 Rabīʻ al-Ākhir 1303 (19 January, 1886).
15 x 21 cm; written surface: 13 x 19 cm, lines per page vary.
Modern binding.
In fair ruqʻah script; in black ink, with some headings and markings in purple.

Summary
Manuscript in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish in three parts: 1. Proverbs in prose and verse arranged alphabetically in two columns (folios 1a-29a); 2. Riddles in prose and verse (folios 29b-32a); 3. Examples of letter writing on different subjects (flios 32b-37b). On folio 1a are miscellaneous verses of poetry in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish. Place and name of the author are not mentioned, probably in the 19th century in Turkey.
