A translation into Massachuset of the Old and New Testament and the Psalms of David.
Copy of the variation without the general Indian title (leaf chi1), and without the English preliminary matter (quire A) to the N.T.; the Indian special t.p. to the N.T. (dated 1661) has the diamond-shaped printer's ornament; with the misprints "Chap. 10" and "Chap. 15" in the head-line of L2r and L4r of the N.T.
"The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (a reissue of Wing B2757) has separate register and title page, dated 1661, on A1r. A separate title page in Massachuset (also dated 1661) follows on A1r, with title, "Wusku Wuttestamentum Nul-Lordumun Jesus Christ nuppoquohwussuaeneumun". The book of John begins new register with 2A1. "VVame ketoohomae uketoohomaoungash David" (caption title), i.e. the Psalms of David, has separate register.
