Summary
In this ethnographic study, Francio Guadeloupe probes the ethos and attitude created by radio disc jockeys on the binational Caribbean island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten. Guadeloupe credits the DJs with helping all social classes there treanscend their ethnic and religious differences.
