520    Manuscript pocket notebook containing remedies and advice on the treatment of veterinary ailments, primarily in cattle and horses. The volume is dated 1810 in a contemporary hand on the inner front board. Many of the remedies are attributed to Charles Williamson (or C.W.). It's unclear if Williamson is also the compiler or copyist for the volume. Other named sources include: J. Roberts, R. Massey, G. Gilbert, Josh. Brock, "Miss Cragg," and G. Gregory. The sources do not match the names of contemporary British authors in the domain of veterinary medicine. Includes one rough drawing, in black ink (leaf 46): "Plan of smoaking ale in a bottle." Some of the recipes, especially near the end of the volume, are not strictly veterinary in nature.
