Biographical / Historical Note
Benjamin Gale (1715-1790) (Yale 1733) practiced medicine in Killingworth, Connecticut, and represented the town in the colonial legislature. He was also interested in the study of the Scriptural prophecies.
Summary
Twenty-seven summaries, statements, and letters by or concerning Benjamin Gale, circa 1761-1789. A majority of the materials relate to Gale’s interest in prophecies. Present are three speeches Gale delivered during town meetings in Killingworth in which he comments on politics and government.
