520    Manuscript, in multiple hands, of three journals which record the details of a sailing expedition of leisure through the rivers and dykes of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Huntingdonshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.  The first journal, by Thomas Roberts, "volenteer," mentions participating in a sailing race at Whittleseymeer; breakfasts and dinners with friends of Lord Orford; horse races in Spalding; and a trip onshore to see the play She Stoops to Conquer. The second journal, by George Farrington, "volenteer," provides some descriptions of the landscape, but focuses primarily on social and recreational activities, especially fishing.  The last journal, by Lord Orford, describes his interactions with local farmers, commenting that the women are "still plain, but not hideous as yesterday"; mentions the audience of children and animals which gather onshore to admire his fleet; details the results of the many fishing attempts; and concludes with a list of the servants on the ship.
