Summary
Marriage contract, manuscript, ink and paint on vellum, dated 5th of Tishre 5710 at [Ḳazablanḳah] (1949). The text, written in a Sephardic cursive hand, is enclosed in a wreath of flowers with a bow at the bottom. On the outside of the wreath is the shape of an arch. Above the arch is an image of two joined hands, and above the hands is a crown. The outside frame consists of blessings for the bride and groom that come from the book of Ruth, the priestly blessing, and the book of Jeremiah. Below the text are official stamps that include the name of a notary and next to two of them appear the years 1953 and 1961. There is also a stamp that says "Traduction Analytique No. 10.522". The paint has faded in several areas of the ketubah.
