The papers consist of research notes, typescripts, and clippings of Creighton Barker.

Biographical / Historical

Creighton Barker was born on January 15, 1892, in New Milford, Connecticut. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1910, receiving a medical degree in 1913, from Dartmouth Medical School. On November 17, 1917, he married Juliette B. Beach, with whom he had two children. During World War I, he served in the Army Medical Corps. Barker was an ear and throat specialist and held various professorships in otolaryngology at Yale School of Medicine. He was also the leader of many medical organizations. He died on April 8, 1960.
