Edited from the Dār al-kutub manuscript (also used as the basis of the 1997 edition), with material from the Azhar manuscript (the primitive version, preserved in the library of al-Azhar University, Cairo, in manuscript no. 30714, folios 247r-284r) incorporated in the annotations.
The sequence of 75 unnumbered pages contain a color facsimile of folios 247r-284r of the al-Azhar manuscript (Maktabah al-Azharīyah, manuscript no. 30714), containing the text of the primitive version.
Appendix Two includes a Spanish paraphrase of the original Arabic, as found in the manuscript Bologna, Biblioteca universitaria D 565. The paraphrase is followed by an English translation.
