Summary
Manuscript in unidentified hand, on paper, containing a collection of texts on different topics. The first half of the manuscript (pages 1-196) contains a variety of texts about French history, especially French history of the 17th century and Cardinal Mazarin. Most texts are satirical in nature (Mazarinades). Texts include: Le courrier francois apportant toutes les novelles veretables de ce qui s'est passe depuis l'enlevement du roy de Paris le 9. janvier 1649 jusque a 30 may de la mesme annee (in 12 chapters, by Jsaac and Eusebe Renaudot), Le pater noster de Mazarin (anonymous), de la guerre, Le pasoport et adieu du Mazarin en vers burlesques (anonymous), Lestre burlesque a monsieur le cardinal Mazarin (by Laurent de Laffemas), Agreable recit de barricade de Paris en vers burlesques (by Claude-Charles de L'Aubespine Verderonne), a collection of unidentified epitaphs and "Jullii Mazarini epitaphiu[m]." The second half contains a variety of definitions, notes, and exercises on mathematics, architecture, and mechanics. Includes sections on arithmetics, architecture, perspective, mechanics, etc. Contains a multitude of mathematical and architectural drawings (of various lines, circles, columns, etc.)
