Summary
A documentary about life in the Soviet Union at the time of filming compared to life at the end of Tsarist Russia. The focus is on technological and scientific developments that have been driven forward by the industry of the working classes and the October Revolution.There is impressive early footage of work in coal mines and on oil fields. The film also includes images of experiments and testing in various scientific and engineering fields. Early computers and robotics feature alongside advances in nuclear energy and rocket design.
