The book is devoted to one of the main problems of prehistory, the peopling of the New World, the oldest archaeological sites of the Americas, connections between prehistoric cultures of Siberia and America. For the first time a comprehensive review of relevant evidence (including Quaternary geology, paleogeography, paleontology, archaeology, ethnography, physical anthropology, genetics, linguistics, folklore studies, mythology, etc.) based on the multidisciplinary approach, has been presented to the Russian audience.
