"It is contemplated to conclude these annals and their illustrations in 12 numbers or volumes."--Prospectus, p. [2] of each volume. Only two volumes were actually published.
Volume 1 contains an "account of materials and cataclysms, the Linapi and Haytian annals, with the Haytian language, notes, tables, etc." Volume 2 contains "researches on the oldest nations of America, the Mosaic, Chinese, and Atlantic nations, intercourse with America before Columbus, &c."
