Originally issued on various Cetra analog discs, the Wagner & Bellini on 78 rpm. The Traviata excerpts are from a complete recording of the opera. All the works on the present disc were issued on in 1955 on Cetra 33 1/3 rpm disc A-50175.
Program notes about Callas by Giorgio Gualerzi in French, & Italian vocal texts, inserted in container.
The Wagner & Bellin recorded Nov. 8-10, 1949 at Auditorium RAI, Turin, the Ponchielli in Sept. 1952, the Verdi in Sept. 1953.
