Summary
A peepshow depicting the Sans Souci Palace in Potsdam and its surrounding park. The palace was commissioned by King Friedrich II (1740-1786) to be his personal 'house of pleasure.' Designed by the well known architect G. W. von Knobelsdorff, the rococo palace was built on a terraced hill northwest of Potsdam between 1745-1747.
