Summary
Features Nadia Boulanger teaching group classes. The film seen here underwent several transformations. When it was first done, it was divided into three different episodes, a form which left Bruno Monsaigeon dissatisfied. On the occasion of Nadia Boulanger's ninetieth birthday in 1997, he reworked it and made it more compact by removing some of the sequences that struck him as weak and by shooting some extra footage that allowed him to add the testimony of Igor Markevitch and Leonard Bernstein, two of Nadia's most famous disciples.
