Nelson Mandela (1918-2013), South African statesman, anti-apartheid activist, and president of South Africa, 1994-1999.
Summary
Hat and vuvuzela made as political memorabilia in support of Nelson Mandela. The hat, made from a modified plastic hard hat, is painted with a portrait of Mandela, his name and Madiba clan name, and symbols of the African National Congress. The vuvuzela, a horn usually played in football stadiums, is made of plastic and decorated with plastic-coated wire.
