On the inside of the box top an illustrated, printed card is affixed, containing this message: The four books of 'What she needs' may be hung on the wall by the blue thread on the cover of each book to form a piece of wall art.

The text of the book is by Sophie Tucker, three cyanotypes of whom are on the final fold of volume 4; one of those is on the cover of the larger box.

The four volumes are numbered 1-4. Two of them are placed in separate compartments, and the other two are housed in separate boxes, all within the larger box.
