Summary
Alarm Clock was a zine featuring women in music published by Allen Salyer. Published in Michigan in the 1990's, more than thirty issues of this prolific photocopied zine were released. Alarm Clock included reviews of shows, recordings and zines as well as spotlights on musicians and bands, both local and international, most of which featured women in the line up. The zine featured interviews with artists and writers and included Allen Salyer's own illustrations. He contributed his artwork to other zines, such as Not My Small Diary, as well. Each issue of Alarm Clock was released with a different colored cover, upon which frequently appeared one of Salyer's distinctive illustrations. -- Based on "Alarm Clock" at Zinewiki.com.
