Summary
Manuscript in two pieces, on parchment, in a single scribal hand, containing the matching original and counterpart of a chirograph indenture between William le Boteler of Warrington and Richard de Culcheth, concerning rights of distraint for farm services on Richard's demesne lands conceded to him by William le Boteler. The two copies of the indenture are separated by an indented cut along the word "cirograffum" written in capital letters. The document is dated at Bewsey near Warrington, "anno regni Regis Edwardi uicesimo se[cun]do."
