Title and imprint from accompanying "Certificate of warranty and authenticity" (1 sheet ; 33 x 22 cm). Title is in manuscript on the certificate.
"This is to certify that the original linoleum block was hand-cut and printed by Everett Ruess. The print ... which this certificate accompanies was handprinted from this original block by the printers Thomas Carlyle and Stuart Steinhardt ... There are a total of ... artist's proofs of this title which will remain unnumbered. Any overprinting and other proofing sheets have been destroyed. The printing block has been retired and donated to the Utah State Historical Society because of its historical value with the provision that it be barred from further printing. Therefore this is a final and one-time edition of this print. The lino-cuts are printed on Rives lightweight ivory printing paper that is handtorn for a deckled effect to a 9 3/4" by 13" trim size. The entire limited edition was printed in 1986"--Certificate of warranty and authenticity.
