Summary
Autograph manuscript notebook, in a cursive script, containing 225 recipes for cooking, baking and preserving. There is an extensive selection of recipes for meat and fish dishes, including veal olives, calf's feet florentine, roast lobster, pickled pigeon, and stewed seals "or any other fish." The volume also contains many recipes for pickled foods; puddings and other sweet dishes; and various drinks, ranging from ratafia and gooseberry wine to small ale. Recipes are preceded by a table of contents.
