This work contains "the St. Albans compilation to the end of 1188, Roger de Wendover's chronicle, 1189-1235, both revised by Paris, and his own work from 1235 to 1259." The continuation, 1235-1272, is attributed to William Rishanger--see the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography and Gross, Sources and literature of English history.
